It’s simple to prepare and can be made in a pinch.
The crockpots are great for keeping food cold, and they keep the burger juicy.
Start with a homemade burger patty.
Cook the patty, then pour a little bit of tomato sauce on top and top the hamburger with some chopped onion, lettuce, tomato and cilantro.
Top the burger with cheddar cheese and your choice of pickles, bacon or lettuce.
You can make it with ground beef, but I prefer the whole hamburger, which you can buy at any grocery store.
It comes out moist, juicy and flavorful.
It also freezes well, which is good because you’ll be using it a lot in the winter.
This recipe is easy and quick.
If you don’t have a crock or a croc cooker, this recipe works well with one.
Make it ahead and freeze the hamburgers for a few days.
Make this burger in the crock pots and keep it in the freezer for up to a week.
It keeps well, too.
Serve the burger on a bun with a salad or on lettuce leaves.
You could also serve it on a sandwich with some bread and cheese.
It makes a great burger to share with a group.
Ingredients 1/2-inch layer of grated cheddar or cheddar grated cheese (I used Cheddar, Trader Joe’s or other brands)
