There is a growing sense of urgency about how the fast-food giant is handling the health effects of its latest food-borne illness, the coronavirus.
The company, like the broader fast-casual restaurant industry, has been struggling to find a solution to a rapidly changing marketplace.
In a report Wednesday, the CDC said that more than 10,000 new cases were reported nationwide in the past two weeks, bringing the total to more than 30,000 in the United States and Canada.
The number of new cases has climbed from a high of almost 35,000 last week, according to the CDC, which is forecasting a spike of about 10,500 new cases.
That means there are more than 100,000 people who are now sick with the virus.
That has the potential to cause an even larger crisis.
Here’s what you need to know:What are the ‘Burger King’ burger chains?
The Burger King is the world’s largest fast-chain, with more than 300 locations across the United State and Canada and an estimated annual sales of about $1.3 billion.
The chain’s burger joints have become a frequent destination for sick people seeking to escape the virus, especially in the West, where it has spread from people living in the country’s southern border region.
The chain’s Burger King restaurants are also popular among the homeless, who are often among those most vulnerable to illness.
The CDC said there is an increased risk of contracting coronaviruses if people eat at Burger King.
“The increased spread of coronaviral infections in this country may lead to an increased number of outbreaks of coronas among people who consume hamburgers,” the report said.
“The increased number and spread of infections is expected to continue to increase.”
The number of Burger King burger restaurants has been increasing at an alarming rate.
The average number of burger restaurants across the country increased by a whopping 40 percent in the first six months of 2018, according the CDC.
That compares with a 25 percent increase in the same period last year.
The CDC said more than 90 percent of Burger Kings are currently open and operating.
Burger Kings were already under pressure to step up safety measures to keep customers safe in the weeks after the outbreak first emerged in Texas in late May.
That is not the case now, however.
The company is offering customers who have been sick to come back to their restaurants and receive their orders.
The offer includes free chicken and fries for anyone who is sick.
