It’s not always easy making a hamburger with the ingredients you have in the fridge, but at least this time of year it’s not that hard.
If you want to impress your friends with your homemade burger and cheese, it can’t hurt to get creative.
Here are our favorite homemade hamburger ingredients you can try on your next trip to the grocery store.
The basic ingredients: 1/2 lb. ground beef 1/4 lb. cooked onions, diced 2 tbsp.
tomato sauce 1 tbsp.
mustard 1/8 tsp.
salt 2 tbsp toasted panko breadcrumbs 2 tsp.
balsamic vinegarThe basic recipe: 4 to 6 hamburger bunsPreheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a medium bowl, combine ground beef, onions, tomato sauce, mustard, salt, balsam, and vinegar.
Heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add onion mixture, cook, stirring, until translucent.
Add ground beef mixture, and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
Add breadcrumb mixture, buns, and balsams.
Stir to combine.
Add the breadcrub mixture to the onions mixture and stir to combine, and then mix in the balsamed-vinegar mixture.
Pour into bun.
Bake until golden brown on top, about 30 minutes.
Buns can be stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
